System Requirements

  • Compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 for both 32 bit and 64 bit architecture
  • 500 megahertz (MHz) processor or higher, 256 MB RAM or highe
  • Broadband internet connection

Instructions for Use

  1. Download the software and extract the zip file to a convenient location like the desktop
  2. If you already have the data cable drivers installed for the Current Cost Data Cable, please skip steps 3 and 4 and go directly to INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE (below)

3. Locate the extracted files from step 1.
4. Double click pl2303.exe and follow the driver installation wizard.

5. After you have installed the drivers for the Data Cable, double click "Setup.exe" to install the software and follow the installation wizard.

 


Registering with Google for PowerMeter

You will need to register with Google and have a Google login to use Google PowerMeter.

If you already use the Google email service called Gmail, then you are already registered.

Privacy

The Current Cost PowerMeter application sends your Current Cost data to Google PowerMeter for processing. This process can be stopped at any time.
